The Malbec from this line is one of the winery's most recognized red wines and offers one of the best price-quality ratios within Mendoza's high-end wines.

WINE PROFILE

100% Malbec from a blend of selected plots from different areas of Mendoza: Las Compuertas in Luján de Cuyo with vines over 100 years old, Vista Flores in Tunuyán, La Consulta in San Carlos, and Finca El Cepillo in the Uco Valley. Full-bodied red with sweet and friendly tannins, good acidity, and a concentrated, well-structured fruit profile. 72-hour pre-fermentation maceration at low temperature to preserve primary aromas, followed by 35 days of total maceration. Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. %

AGING POTENTIAL

Can evolve well between 8 and 10 years from harvest under good conditions.

SUGGESTED PAIRING

Very comfortable with a good "asado," especially bone-in cuts or those with good fat marbling. Also pairs well with meat stews, pasta with ragu, baked empanadas, and strong aged cheeses. A high-end Malbec that doesn't need ceremony to shine on the table.
