The figure of Mary Magdalene represents transformation. The Chardonnay that bears her name comes from Gualtallary, one of the most interesting white terroirs in Argentina, with aging in new barrels that gives it texture without losing the citrus and mineral freshness of the place.
WINE PROFILE
100% Chardonnay from Gualtallary, Uco Valley, Mendoza. 8-hour maceration in the press at 8°C. Fermentation for 25 days at 16°C with fine lees movement. No FML. 8 months aging in new 500-liter French oak barrels.
SUGGESTED PAIRING
Very comfortable with seafood, fish, poultry with herb cream, risotto, and semi-hard cheeses.
