A winery founded in 1884 with the history to back every label. The Gran Reserva Malbec is Escorihuela Gascón's benchmark Malbec: a wine from Agrelo, one of the historic districts of Luján de Cuyo, aged in oak with a generous fruit profile that makes it easy to enjoy and hard to forget.
WINE PROFILE
100% Malbec from Finca Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. A medium to full-bodied red with round, sweet tannins, good acidity, and an expressive fruit profile. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels plus 12 months in bottle. A classic Luján de Cuyo Malbec: generous, balanced, and long-lasting.
ALCOHOL

AGING POTENTIAL
Can age well for 8 to 10 years from vintage under good conditions.
SUGGESTED PAIRING
Pairs very well with grilled meats, from a weekend barbecue to more noble cuts such as flank steak or ribeye. It also goes well with baked empanadas, pasta with meat sauces, and aged, flavorful cheeses.
