El Enemigo Malbec is one of the core wines of El Enemigo Wines, a project created by Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena. The grapes mainly come from Gualtallary, Uco Valley (Mendoza), a high-altitude area known for producing Malbecs with greater freshness and tension.
WINE PROFILE
It is a predominant Malbec (approx. 85-90%) with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc. The Malbec contributes volume, fruit, and texture, while the Cabernet Franc adds freshness and structure. The result is a medium to medium-full-bodied red, with good depth and a balanced profile that pairs very well with food.
SUGGESTED PAIRING
It pairs very well with grilled red meats, Argentine asado, meat empanadas, pasta with ragu, and semi-hard cheeses.
