It is a red blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. Some wine references mention proportions close to 50% Malbec, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 10% Syrah, although these may vary depending on the vintage. Malbec contributes volume and fruit, Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure, Merlot softens the texture, and Syrah adds spices. It is a medium to full-bodied wine, with good concentration and aged for approximately 10 to 12 months in oak, which gives it greater complexity and depth.
