Bianchi IV Generación Gran Corte is a high-end blend made in Los Chacayes, Uco Valley, Mendoza. It is a wine designed for those seeking more structure and complexity, with a distinctly gastronomic profile.
WINE PROFILE
It is a red blend of variable composition depending on the vintage. The official 2022 fact sheet lists it as 50% Malbec, 19% Tannat, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot. The 2020 vintage shows different proportions, also with Malbec as the base of the blend. Rather than memorizing a single blend, the important thing for the website description is that it is a medium to full-bodied blend, with good concentration, firm texture, and aging that adds depth.
SUGGESTED PAIRING
It pairs very well with grilled red meats, roasted lamb, pasta with ragu, stews, and aged cheeses.
