The Aluvional line is Zuccardi's statement of identity: the common denominator of the entire Uco Valley is its alluvial soils, brought by water from the Andes Mountains over millions of years. Paraje Altamira has the most calcareous and stony alluvial soil in the area, which imparts unique minerality and tension to the Malbec.
