Otronia 45 Roaring White Blend

The name refers to the "Roaring Forties," the nickname for the Patagonian winds that lash this latitude. Corte de Blancas is a blend of the four white varietals from the estate: each fermented separately in different vessels and then blended in the combination that best expresses the terroir. 95 points Descorchados.

WINE PROFILE

Blend of 35% Chardonnay, 30% Gewürztraminer, 20% Pinot Gris, and 15% Riesling, from Sarmiento, Chubut, Patagonia. All organically certified. Direct pressing without destemming. Separate fermentation in stainless steel tanks and concrete eggs. Aged 20 to 22 months in untoasted French oak foudres and concrete vats.
