Luca Dante's Kiss Blend

Bodega Luca is the personal project of Laura Catena, daughter of Nicolás Catena Zapata, founded in 1999 with a specific obsession: working with old vineyards and small producers in the Uco Valley. El Beso de Dante (Dante's Kiss) is named after one of her sons, in homage to Dante Alighieri, and revives the historic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, which has its roots in Argentina in the 19th century.

WINE PROFILE

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, with a variable proportion of Cabernet Franc depending on the vintage. Grapes from their own vineyards in Altamira, La Consulta, and Gualtallary, Uco Valley, Mendoza, over 1,000 meters above sea level. Fermentation in barrels with long macerations of 30 to 50 days. Aged for 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, combining first and second use. Full-bodied red with firm tannins and a long finish. %

Can evolve well between 8 and 12 years from vintage under good conditions.

SUGGESTED PAIRING
