El Enemigo Cabernet Franc is one of the most representative wines of the El Enemigo Wines project, created by Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena. The grapes come mainly from Gualtallary, in the Uco Valley (Mendoza), a high-altitude area that provides freshness and precision to the wines.
WINE PROFILE
It is a predominantly Cabernet Franc (approx. 85-90%) with a small proportion of Malbec. The Cabernet Franc provides structure, freshness, and aromatic complexity, while the Malbec adds volume and smoothness on the palate. The result is a medium to medium-high-bodied red wine, with firm but elegant tannins and a balanced profile that works very well at the table.
SUGGESTED PAIRING
It pairs very well with grilled red meats, grilled skirt steak, roasted lamb, pasta with mushrooms, and semi-hard cheeses.
