El Enemigo Bonarda is part of the El Enemigo Wines project, created by Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena. The grapes come mainly from El Cepillo, in the Uco Valley (Mendoza), a high-altitude area that provides freshness and good concentration to this traditional Argentine varietal.
WINE PROFILE
It is a varietal Bonarda (100%). It has a medium body, good fruit intensity and soft tannins, with a broad and balanced texture. Bonarda usually offers juicy and accessible wines, but in this case, it is made with greater depth and structure, maintaining freshness thanks to its high-altitude origin.
SUGGESTED PAIRING
It pairs very well with pasta with tomato sauce, pizzas, grilled meats, grilled chicken, and semi-soft cheeses.
