D.V. Catena Pinot Noir – Pinot Noir is an elegant and complex red from Catena Zapata. It is made from grapes from two high-altitude vineyards in Tupungato, a combination that gives it freshness, finesse, and greater depth.
WINE PROFILE
It is a varietal Pinot Noir (100%). According to the official technical sheet, it comes from Domingo Vineyard, in Villa Bastías, Tupungato (1,120 masl) and Adrianna Vineyard, in Gualtallary, Tupungato (1,480 masl). It is fermented with selected yeasts and aged for 12 months in 85% French oak and 15% American oak. The result is a light-to-medium-bodied wine with a silky texture, ripe tannins, and a more complex profile than a simple Pinot Noir.
SUGGESTED PAIRING
It pairs very well with grilled chicken, risottos, salmon, mild pasta, and also with slightly more elaborate dishes such as duck or poultry with light sauces, because it complements without overpowering and maintains a very good balance at the table.
