Malbec Argentino is one of Bodega Catena Zapata's most emblematic wines. It is dedicated to the history of Malbec in Argentina and to the Catena family, with an iconic label that reinforces its origin.
WINE PROFILE
It is a varietal Malbec (100%) made with grapes from selected vineyards in Lunlunta (Luján de Cuyo) and Paraje Altamira (Uco Valley). It has a medium to medium-full body, with good concentration and balance between fruit, freshness, and structure. It is aged in French oak (approximately 12 months), which adds complexity without dominating the profile. It is a Malbec with more precision and depth than a classic one, but without reaching the level of the winery's icon wines.
SUGGESTED PAIRING
It pairs very well with grilled meats, Argentine asado, empanadas, pasta with meat sauce, and also with more elaborate dishes where a balanced and gastronomic Malbec is sought.
