River is named after a small 2.6-hectare plot covered with white oval stones from an ancient riverbed in the Adrianna Vineyard. The stones facilitate optimal drainage and moderate extreme temperatures. Malbecs from calcareous soils are extraordinarily aromatic, concentrated, and opulent.
WINE PROFILE
Floral, lush red wine with silky tannins. 100% Malbec from Gualtallary at 1,366 meters above sea level, alluvial soil over a riverbed with white stones covered in calcium carbonate. Aged for 18 to 21 months in French oak foudres over 5 years old.
