Susana Balbo Benmarco Sin Límites Malbec Pedernal Valley

Valle de Pedernal is one of the new terroirs that are redefining Argentine Malbec. Located in San Juan, in the Andes Mountains, its young vineyards at 1,500 meters produce a Malbec completely different from Mendoza's: herbal, spicy, and with a silky texture.

WINE PROFILE

100% Malbec from Valle de Pedernal, San Juan, Andes Mountains, up to 1,500 meters above sea level. Alluvial and colluvial soils of glacial origin. Fermentation in concrete eggs and used wood with daily punch-downs. Maceration with skins for 25 days. Aging for 12 months in second and third-use French oak barrels.

SUGGESTED PAIRING

Very comfortable with roasted meats, poultry, and aged cheeses.
